Your Questions, Answered

How are tutoring sessions conducted?

All sessions are either in-person (at your home), or are held live via a secure video platform (Zoom) with interactive whiteboard tools, allowing students to share documents, work through problems, and receive instant feedback.

How often should I book a session?

This depends on your goals, the amount of support needed, and your budget. In most cases, one session per week is optimal, with additional sessions in the school holidays and leading up to exams.

What is the optimal session time?

Usually, I would recommend a 1 hour session, as this is the optimal amount of time to get into a session whilst maintaining focus. A longer session can work well in some situations, for example if particular focus is required on a topic, or closer to exams.

What does my child need to bring?

All they need is a device, a quiet space, and an open mindset. The most important things are curiosity, a willingness to improve, and the belief that progress is possible. With those in place, we can achieve great things together.
